Ecological Footprint

Your ecological footprint is determined by how much biodiversity, land, and water is needed to support your daily life. This number is then compared to how much is available. Many humans have a large ecological footprint becuase not only does producing the things you consume require resources and space, but these processes create waste (which consumes more space) and you physically inhabit some space.

Use the Earth Day Network Footprint Calculator to determine your ecological footprint
